InForma Cycling, a small fit studio in Buckeye (Phoenix) Arizona. In July of 2022, I decided to start, InForma Cycling and concentrate on bike fitting as that is what I am very passionate about.

 

I’ve worked in the cycling industry since 2011. I have been a USA Cycling race mechanic since 2014, a service manager / bicycle fitter since 2016, and have worked at numerous Ironman events around the country as a mechanic / fitter since 2017. 

 

At InForma Cycling we are a proponent of the “fit first philosophy” with a strong focus on “stability in the foot.” We believe that starts with a strong foundation inside of the shoe and the shoe itself.

 

During my 12+ years in the cycling industry, while working with riders in my neighborhood, on weekend rides, and even professional and Olympic athletes at Ironman events, I’ve noticed one thing over and over, a proper fit is very individual and very unique. What looks great for one person isn’t for the next rider. I’ve seen my share of bad fits and bikes that are poorly maintained. My goal is a union between a properly fit bicycle, an educated rider, and a well maintained machine. That’s what we do. Fit your bicycle to you and educate you on the ins and out of your bicycle.

 

Bicycles are adjustable in so many ways but, people aren’t, we adapt, very well I may add, even to a poorly fit bike. Many times because of injury, flexibility issues, or physical limitations we suffer to accommodate what we think feels right. Sometimes it’s for the better but, more often than not we adapt because we have to.
